Softball Recap: Parkers Prairie Comes Up Short

Parkers Prairie fell victim to Wadena-Deer Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Parkers Prairie saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anya Wagner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Parkers Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wadena-Deer Creek, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
