South Haven had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with a 43-30 win over the Flinthills Mustangs.

South Haven pushed their record up to 17-1-2 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points over those games. As for Flinthills, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-5-1.
