University Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Duval Charter Panthers. The Christians were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Christians were just returning the favor.

The win didn't come easy: Duval Charter scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21, 25-23.

MJ Bishop paced University Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Bishop got some help from Carly Keil and her 12 assists.

University Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Duval Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, University Christian will venture away from home to face off against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Duval Charter, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against West Nassau at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
