Baseball Recap: Rutherford Takes a Loss

Rutherford and Bay squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Rutherford had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tornadoes, falling 7-0. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tornadoes earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Rutherford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aren Magnuson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Rutherford's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

As of now, neither Rutherford nor the Tornadoes have any future games scheduled.
