Baseball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams suffered their closest defeat since March 14th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Person Rockets by a score of 4-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 13-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Williams saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam KerrFinger, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Williams has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Person, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Williams beat the Rockets by a score of 4-3 on Friday.
