Soccer Recap: Crestwood Drops Season-High Score on Labrae

Crestwood scored the most goals they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the LaBrae Vikings, falling 8-3. Crestwood were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 6-1.

Ava Macik and Gianna Mory scored all three of Crestwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for LaBrae, with the win, they broke their seven-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-9-1.

Crestwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Villa Angela-St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. As for LaBrae, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 defeat against Garfield on the 22nd.
