Baseball Recap: Bear River Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bear River had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Gustine Reds 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Lunsford, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Bear River's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Gustine, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 18-6 record.

As of now, neither Bear River nor the Reds have any future games scheduled.
