J.H. Rose came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the West Carteret Patriots with a sharp 78-56 win. The Rampants have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, West Carteret still got an impressive performance from Jack Bell, who posted 14 points. Tanner Payne was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.

J.H. Rose's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for West Carteret, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

J.H. Rose wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-42 win against New Bern on the 9th. As for West Carteret, they will welcome Kinston at 8:30 p.m. on January 15th.
