Soccer Recap: Hereford Comes Up Short

Hereford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Canyon Eagles, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in January.

Hereford's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Canyon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Coming up, Hereford will head out to face off against West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. West Plains will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hereford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Canyon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Perryton at 5:00 p.m.
