Volleyball Recap: Swett Comes Up Short

Swett's tournament run continued when they took on California on Saturday. Swett fell 2-0 to California. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

California found their leader in sophomore Beau Banta, who had 21 assists and three aces. Banta is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Swett's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for California, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Swett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Del Campo on the 22nd. As for California, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against American Canyon on the 22nd.
