Strong had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 22-6 victory over the Dermott Rams. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Dermott's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Strong and Dermott will both be playing Woodlawn the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 17.
