Basketball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur lost against Spring back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The MacArthur Generals might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Spring Lions an easy 63-40 win. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spring was led to victory by Tadarius Wade and Jaylan Tran. Wade posted 16 points, while Tran went 6 of 7 on his way to 12 points. Wade is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darrell Payton, who had ten points.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Spring, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

MacArthur will head out to face off against New Caney at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Spring and Willis will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
