Volleyball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Takes a Loss

Stow-Munroe Falls suffered their biggest loss since March 14th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Hudson Explorers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Explorers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Stow-Munroe Falls was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Stow-Munroe Falls still got an impressive performance from Luke Hoskinson, who had 16 digs and two assists.

Stow-Munroe Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hudson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Stow-Munroe Falls will challenge Cuyahoga Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Black Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Hudson has already played their next game (against Normandy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
