Kentwood has gone a perfect 3-0 against Auburn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Conquerors will challenge the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Auburn took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kentwood, who comes in off a win.

While Kentwood's victory against Kentridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Conquerors narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Chargers 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Conquerors have posted since May 24, 2024.

Meanwhile, Auburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at the hands of Beamer. Even though they lost, the Trojans' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Auburn got a massive performance out of Balina Haes, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. With that strong performance, Haes is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Bailey Brown, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6.

Kentwood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Kentwood took their victory against Auburn when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
