Football Preview: Bergenfield Bears vs. Teaneck Highwaymen        
        
		
             Bergenfield has gone 6-1 against Teaneck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Saturday. The Bergenfield Bears will welcome the Teaneck Highwaymen.
 Last Thursday, Bergenfield came up short against Eastside  and fell  33-22.
 Bergenfield's  loss came about despite a quality game from  Joshua Hur, who threw for 172 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a rushing score.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Teaneck). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Paramus 35-7 at home. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Highwaymen as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
  Demetrius Owens was the offensive standout of the  game as he picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Teaneck was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 264  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
 Bergenfield dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Teaneck, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
 Everything came up roses for Bergenfield against Teaneck in their previous matchup  back in October of 2021, as the  team secured  a  37-0 victory. Will Bergenfield repeat their success,  or does  Teaneck have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
