Baseball Recap: Wabasso Takes a Loss

Wabasso lost against Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rabbits fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 4-3. The Rabbits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wabasso's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wabasso will head out to square off against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rabbits are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove, they will venture away from home to take on Murray County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
