Basketball Recap: Franklin Pierce Takes a Loss

Franklin Pierce lost against Clover Park back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Franklin Pierce Cardinals took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clover Park Timberwolves. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clover Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ahriana Mamea, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andralynne Harless, who posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Franklin Pierce's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Clover Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Franklin Pierce didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-23 victory against Orting on the 24th. Clover Park has also already played their next game, a 48-38 loss against Fife on the 24th.
