Basketball Recap: Miller School of Albemarle Beats Carlisle for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Miller School of Albemarle extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Ryan Crotty. The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks blew past the Carlisle Chiefs, posting a 91-26 victory thanks in part to Crotty, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and four steals. His evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Anthony Saunders was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Miller School of Albemarle's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.2 points. As for Carlisle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Miller School of Albemarle will be playing in front of their home fans against North Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
