Darlington put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Athens Academy Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ruthie Brinson paced Darlington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brinson got some help from Bryn Merritt and her 14 assists. Brinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Athens Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
