Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Katella Knights, falling 3-0. The Sentinels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-15, 25-8.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Katella, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Magnolia will square off against Fountain Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Katella, they will take on Norco at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
