Basketball Game Preview: Heartland Christian Academy Eagles vs. Sunnydale Academy

The Heartland Christian Academy Eagles will face off against Sunnydale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Heartland Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Sunnydale Academy likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Heartland Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 76-72 to North County Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Heartland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Sunnydale Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Heartland Christian Academy came up short against Sunnydale Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 48-43.
