If Mott Haven was riding high fresh off their 13-7 takedown of Randolph Campus on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mavericks took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gompers Panthers on Thursday. The Mavericks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mott Haven now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Gompers, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
