After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamady, Morrice was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 37-29 win over the Genesee Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-37 two weeks ago.

Genesee's loss came despite strong showings from Ayden Yeomen and Julius Serna. Yeomen went 5-for-10 to rack up 16 points, while Serna posted nine points. Those 16 points gave Yeomen a new career-high.

Morrice's record now sits at 3-13. As for Genesee, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Morrice has already played their next game, a 76-59 defeat against Livingston Christian on the 11th. As for Genesee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 47-29 victory against Farwell on the 10th.
