Bishop McLaughlin Catholic lost against Nature Coast Tech back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes took a 66-47 bruising from the Sharks. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic still got an impressive performance from Conor Whalen, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 24 points along with five boards and three steals. Whalen is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Jacob Mekdeci was another key player, putting up ten points and five assists.
