Volleyball Recap: Castle's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Castle had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jeffersonville Red Devils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Castle was: they took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-6.

Gabby Korba paced Castle's offense, picking up nine kills. Korba got some help from Alexus Shepherd and her 16 assists. Jada Ailstock controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Castle's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Jeffersonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Castle has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against North Posey on the 27th. As for Jeffersonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Evansville Reitz on the 27th.
