Basketball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tucson High Magnet School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Basha Bears. The matchup was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but the Badgers couldn't quite close it out.

When it comes to explaining why Tucson High Magnet School lost, don't look at Jaylan Knight. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-19 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joaquin Sosa, who posted ten points.

Tucson High Magnet School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Basha, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tucson High Magnet School will take on Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Basha, they will challenge Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
