Soccer Recap: Yuma Comes Up Short

Yuma lost against Gila Ridge back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yuma Criminals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gila Ridge Hawks. The Criminals just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Yuma's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Gila Ridge, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yuma will challenge Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yuma is facing Cibola at the right time seeing as Cibola is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Gila Ridge, they will take on San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in San Luis' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Gila Ridge has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
