Baseball Game Preview: Hermann Bearcats vs. St. Clair Bulldogs

The Hermann Bearcats will challenge the St. Clair Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hermann has given up an average of 7.9 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hermann is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against St. Louis HomeSchool P on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Patriots.

Meanwhile, while St. Clair put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Salem. The Bulldogs blew past the Tigers 10-0. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

St. Clair's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Hermann, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
