Softball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 19-13 to the Bolsa Grande Matadors. Even if the Sentinels couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bolsa Grande, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Magnolia will venture away from home to challenge Saddleback at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bolsa Grande, they will head out to face off against Century at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
