Recap: Klahowya Eagles vs. East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals
Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 11 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Klahowya Eagles proved on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-42 victory over East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum]. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Klahowya.
Eli Kraft was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Carson Langguth was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Stuart Dow, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Dow is crushing the block category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brody Moore, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Klahowya is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum], their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
