Soccer Recap: Menomonee Falls Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Neenah, Menomonee Falls was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Menomonee Falls were the better team in the second half.

The win got Menomonee Falls back to even at 1-1. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Menomonee Falls and Wisconsin Lutheran will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Phoenix are set to square off against their familiar foe Brookfield Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wisconsin Lutheran will face off against rival New Berlin West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
