Football Recap: McNairy Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McNairy Central played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Dyersburg Trojans, falling 53-18. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson King, who rushed for 88 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 115 yards on seven of 17 attempts.

McNairy Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dyersburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNairy Central will host Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Dyersburg, they will challenge Bolivar Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them.
