Soccer Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Green Mountain Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Green Mountain, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Lakewood will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brighton at 12:00 p.m. on March 29th. Green Mountain also won't see the pitch for a while: their next matchup is against Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on March 26th. Green Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
