Highlands is 3-0 against Summit Charter since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Highlands Highlanders just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Summit Charter Bears at 7:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Highlands and five for Summit Charter.

Highlands is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Robbinsville on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Highlands was beaten by Robbinsville 60-17. The Highlanders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-11.

Meanwhile, Summit Charter came up short against Invest Collegiate Imagine on Thursday, falling 73-52. The Bears were down 56-36 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Summit Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything came up roses for Highlands against Summit Charter in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 77-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Highlands since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
