Unioto has gone 9-1 against Zane Trace recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Shermans will face off against the Pioneers at 5:15 p.m. Unioto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Unioto managed to slip by Chillicothe the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Shermans lost 11-1 to the Cavaliers on Thursday.

Unioto saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackenzie Paugh, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Zane Trace came into Saturday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Paint Valley on Saturday.

Unioto's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Zane Trace, their record now sits at 8-15.

Zane Trace's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Unioto hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. It's a different story for Zane Trace, though, as they've only averaged .239. Will they be able to contain Unioto's hitters?

Unioto came out on top in a nail-biter against Zane Trace when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 6-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shermans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
