Football Game Preview: Belleview Rattlers vs. Springstead Eagles

The Belleview Rattlers will face off against the Springstead Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Belleview is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Belleview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Buchholz, posting a 40-0 victory. The Rattlers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Springstead didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Land O' Lakes on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 25-20 win.

Springstead's win came from a few key players Belleview will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Arianna Willoughby, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Those three passing touchdowns gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of J'Ziyah Munford, who gained 57 total yards and two touchdowns.

Springstead didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Briana Coleman led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Springstead is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Belleview, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
