Softball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Lisbon's last matchup with Alburnett could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Lions lost 13-6 to the Pirates. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Alburnett, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lisbon beat the Pirates by a score of 3-1 later that day.
