Volleyball Recap: Central Carolina Academy Takes a Loss

Central Carolina Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Grace Christian Crusaders.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-12.

Grace Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kavi Kerr, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Kerr a new career-high. Rylee Molina also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Central Carolina Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Grace Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Central Carolina Academy will head out to take on Southern Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Christian, they will square off against Arendell Parrott Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
