Softball Recap: Ramona Has No Trouble Against Fallbrook

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Ramona ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They blew past the Fallbrook Warriors 7-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-7 back in April.

Braelyn Bolen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Taeya Kitchen, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Kayla Gibson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Ramona's record is now 12-15-1. As for Fallbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Ramona nor Fallbrook have any future games scheduled.
