Softball Recap: Coastal Christian Has No Trouble Against Del Oro

Coastal Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Del Oro on Monday. The Coastal Christian Conquerors were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over the Del Oro Suns. The matchup marked the Conquerors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Coastal Christian's record is now 3-1. As for Del Oro, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Coastal Christian will challenge Nipomo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Del Oro, they are taking a road trip to challenge West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Oro has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
