Softball Recap: Northeast Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Northeast barely beat Girard Academic Music Program the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past the Pioneers 27-6 on Monday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Northeast pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.2 runs over those games. As for Girard Academic Music Program, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will head out to square off against George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Girard Academic Music Program, they will venture away from home to take on Nueva Esperanza at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
