Baseball Recap: Richwood Gets the Win

Richwood took a 16-run defeat the last time they faced off against Calhoun, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lumberjacks had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 6-4. This was payback for the Lumberjacks, who suffered a 21-5 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kaden Lane was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cameron Jenkins, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

The win got Richwood back to even at 8-8. As for Calhoun, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.

As of now, neither Richwood nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
