Football Recap: Richwood Comes Up Short

Richwood extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were outmatched by the Sterlington Panthers and fell 40-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

As for Sterlington, their record now sits at 4-2. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Richwood: they've now won eight in a row.

Tj Burch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 110 yards and three TDs, while also picking up 44 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Coming up, Richwood will challenge Lake Arthur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Rams' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sterlington, they will head out to face off against North Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
