Football Recap: Calhoun County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Calhoun County duked it out with Pataula Charter Academy on Friday. The Cougars had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Calhoun County's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pataula Charter Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun County will welcome Aucilla Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Scintilla Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on October 9.
