Ithaca took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They really took it to the St. Louis Sharks for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-0 victory. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Sharks are ranked 430th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gibson Rondy went supernova, rushing for 125 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Greyson Merchant, who rushed for 57 yards and one TD.

Looking ahead, Ithaca will venture away from home to challenge Lawton at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for St. Louis, they will welcome Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
