Basketball Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Christian Academy lost against Scotlandville back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights lost to the Scotlandville Hornets on the road by a 54-37 margin. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scotlandville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joe Tate, who posted 16 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakarin Whitfield, who had nine points along with five assists and five boards.

Lafayette Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Scotlandville, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Lafayette Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-49 defeat against GEO Next Generation on the 13th. As for Scotlandville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-40 win against St. Louis Catholic on the 13th.
