Volleyball Game Preview: Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars vs. Flanagan Falcons

Pembroke Pines Charter hasn't had much luck against Flanagan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Jaguars will host the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Flanagan took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pembroke Pines Charter, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Pembroke Pines Charter was able to grind out a solid victory over McArthur, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

While Pembroke Pines Charter might've won, it sure wasn't easy: McArthur scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Flanagan didn't have quite enough to beat McArthur on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flanagan took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Pembroke Pines Charter will have to contain Oscar Benitez as he made an impact in Flanagan's last game. He had 30 digs and two assists. Benitez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jackson Gray also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Pembroke Pines Charter's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Flanagan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
