Harrisburg took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Carmi-White County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Harrisburg sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Carmi-White County on Saturday. This was payback for Harrisburg, who suffered an 8-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Harrisburg and bumps their season record up to 11-3. As for Carmi-White County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Harrisburg will head out to face off against Murphysboro at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carmi-White County, they will be playing at home against Edwards County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
