It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Banning Pilots had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Falcons out 2-1. The result kept Banning happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 12th.
Banning has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-4-3 record this season. As for Santee, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6-2 record this season.
Banning will square off against Vaughn at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Banning's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Santee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
