The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Thomas Aquinas is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Winter Haven, who was ranked third at the time (St. Thomas Aquinas was ranked 18th). St. Thomas Aquinas lost to Winter Haven on the road by a 65-47 margin on Saturday. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Pembroke Pines Charter came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Colts 45-43.

Pembroke Pines Charter's win came from a few key players St. Thomas Aquinas will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Madison Ojeda, who posted 18 points. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Marai Osborne was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Pembroke Pines Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Everything came up roses for St. Thomas Aquinas against Pembroke Pines Charter in their previous meeting back in January of 2018, as the team secured a 69-23 win.
